What's a Climate Garden?
Climate Gardens are self-watering, space efficient plant installations.
Suspension System: Anyone can install a Climate Garden in less than 30 minutes with just a drill and a hammer. They come with a black steel bracket, easily installed on walls, trees, or posts with two screws. The bracket supports up to 125 pounds.

Irrigation: A programable water pump (powered by battery or outlet) on a small stand circulates water from the barrel to the plants.
Planters: 10-inch circular planters filled with rocks and soil create the perfect isolated habitat for any kind of plant.
Design: Each planter is supported by a white birch ring, laser-engraved with "Challenging Forces." The planters are held by artistic macramé with wooden beads.
Adjustability: Customers can easily adjust the height of the planters along the suspension lines.

Founding Vision
While working for the US Army Corps of Engineers on the Snake and Columbia Rivers in Washington State, David Phillips sought to innovate a solution to destructive water temperature that naturally processed air carbon. Recognizing the impact of sunlight overexposure, he envisioned that suspended ecosystems could provide the necessary shade and habitat to stabilize the river environment. This led to the development of vertically suspended gardens with recirculating irrigation systems, designed to maximize primary production in various settings—indoors and outdoors, homes, businesses, and agriculture.

Open-air vertical farming has advantages over enclosed greenhouses and traditional gardens. Climate Greenhouses arrange planters vertically in a grid pattern allowing more plants per unit space.
